Under this painting is a painting I hated. I'd worked hard on it for two long days then woke up at 3am realizing I needed to paint over the whole thing. When I finished,  only the texture remained. And then this happened. Some muse had taken me over. One that loves squares. I made five more paintings of squares right after this one.
