Sometimes when I run out of my favorite color paints on Matinicus (22 miles out to sea with no stores), I don't want to wait days to get a delivery, and I look at it as a challenge to make do with what's left in my supplies. This painting was one of those times. When I use the artroomsapp -- which is how I show my paintings in rooms  -- I see that the combined effect of these seven colors works very well in many settings. I'm so glad I pushed myself.
