     I created this series of during the COVID lockdown which I spent in Morelia, Mexico. I called it my Corona series, but now I'm calling it Circles, because who wants to remember Covid. At the time lockdown hit, I was doing a lot with very precise geometrics, taping off each shape, but the paper is synthetic (called Yupo paper in the US) and when I tried to use tape on it, the paint pulled off. So I switched to handdrawn circles and semi-circles. I loved making this series! All the paintings are 27x37 inches. They're available November-April.

Creé esta serie durante el confinamiento por la COVID-19 que pasé en Morelia, México. La llamé mi serie Corona, pero ahora la llamo Círculos, porque ¿quién quiere recordar la COVID-19? Cuando empezó el confinamiento, estaba trabajando mucho con geometrías muy precisas, marcando cada forma con cinta adhesiva, pero el papel es sintético (llamado papel Yupo en EE. UU.) y cuando intenté usar cinta, la pintura se desprendió. Así que cambié a círculos dibujados a mano. ¡Me encantó hacer esta serie! Todas las pinturas miden 69x94cm.
