I created these collaged stars by combining some of my own scraps with those of a friend of mine who passed away. She wasn't a long-time friend, but we had an important life event in common and she was always complimentary of my art, so it felt good to honor her in this way. I'm sure she'd love to know that her scraps became art hanging somewhere. (I made two of these, and the other isn't being sold.)

This is on fiberboard, and it fell on one lower corner after I made it. The damage is not very noticeable, but I discounted the price a little.
